This month in history, the Soviet Union kicked off the Space Age with the launch of Sputnik I on October 4, 1957. While the intent was to demonstrate technological power, space exploration and technology have since become a symbol of international cooperation.

Come celebrate with us at Steamoji Oakville South by joining us for Space Camp this coming PA day!

Little ones will enjoy a wide range of space-themed activities, from building a straw rocket to learning about gravity on other planets using Tinkercad's Sim Lab. Meanwhile, kids aged 9 and up will compete in teams to design the best lander to safely land a habitation module on a distant, Earth-like planet.
