What is Steamoji?
Technology, AI and global connectivity are reshaping the way we live and work. The next generation will face challenges we can’t yet imagine. Alongside new skills, they’ll need adaptability, creativity and resilience to lead the way.
Steamoji is the maker academy for kids ages 6-14 that equips children with the hands-on STEM skills and a maker mindsets to solve real-world problems.

Meet Telly and Donna, the Academy Directors behind Steamoji Castro Valley. Raising three young children in an increasingly technology-driven world made them realize just how quickly the skills needed for success are changing. Driven to prepare both their own kids and local youth for what lies ahead, they brought Steamoji’s innovative STEM model to Castro Valley. Their hands-on programs teach more than just technical abilities like 3D design, coding, and engineering—they cultivate the resilience, curiosity, and logic kids need to solve complex problems. Together, Telly and Donna are proud to equip the next generation of local innovators with the tools to thrive.
