Designed for girls who love to create or are just starting to discover that they can.
Miss-ion Possible is an architecture-themed STEAM camp where girls collaborate to design and build their own “community of the future.”
Led by committed female facilitators, campers will learn how to take an idea from concept to creation: brainstorming, sketching, prototyping, 3D modeling, engineering, coding, and fabrication with tools like 3D printers and laser cutters.
Each camper will design and build a structure they imagine - a home, school, or a rocket launchpad - and contribute their creation to a shared community. At the end of the week, they’ll take home their completed build (or perhaps trade with a new friend).
But this camp goes beyond gaining new skills and completing projects. As girls create together toward a shared purpose, they build confidence, form friendships, and begin to see themselves as the kind of people who can build anything they imagine and solve any problem that comes their way. This camp intentionally creates a space where their ideas are valued and where they learn that working together - with good friends or even girls they’ve just met - makes those ideas even stronger.
Why does this all matter? Because the future needs her ideas. Let’s get building!
Note: While the theme stays the same, campers will be split into two groups based on age: more accessible projects for 5-7 year-olds and more advanced projects for 8-12 year-olds.
